Biography
Peter Dougherty has over 25 years’ experience in creative promotions and branding. After years of freelancing in the music video industry, Peter joined MTV in New York in 1982. By the time he transferred to London in 1990 to become Creative Director of MTV Europe, he had been commissioning short animations for four years in addition to managing the promotional team. Throughout the 1990s, Dougherty was responsible for the commissioning of short films, both live action and animation, for MTV Europe. Since returning to the US he has worked for Nickelodeon International, MTV Japan & Cartoon Network US. He currently is a freelance consultant and is based in New York.
